Executive Role Description
Selection
- Each State Delegate has a term of 2 years on Executive with the right
of re-election.
- It is the responsibility of the State or Territory Association to
elect their delegate.
- For effective communication purposes the position of the State Association
Delegate to the ACPPA National Executive is best included in the State
Executive.
- A member of the Secretariat (President, Secretary, Treasurer) cannot
also be the State Executive member, consequently that state will nominate
a further delegate as their Association Executive member.
Role
The State Delegate to the ACPPA National Executive would be expected
to:

Participate in the Executive meeting held prior to the
National Conference.

Keep State Association members fully informed of programs, initiatives,
discussion papers, policy statements, sponsorship initiatives and
awards of ACPPA.

Liaise with Diocesan Association, where appropriate, on
ACPPA matters.

Promote the annual National Conference to members of the State
Association.

Ensure that the required delegates, entitled to vote, are
present at the ACPPA Annual General Meeting, held
during the National Conference. |
